For instance, the book of Ruth shares a tale about a women named Naomi, who was married to Elimelech, plus they had 2 sons Mahlon and Chilion (Ruth 1:2). Now, they were Ephrathites from Bethlehem in Judah (Ruth 1:2); however due to the famine in their land they traveled to Moab (Ruth 1:1) ...

During their 10 years of residence at Moab, Naomi's husband died. Therefore, Naomi was left with her 2 sons Mahlon and Chilion (Ruth 1:3). As time passed both Mahlon and Chilion joined in wedlock with Moabite wives, one of the women was Orpah and the other Ruth (Ruth 1:4); nonetheless Naomi's 2 sons also died (Ruth 1:5) ...

When Naomi heard that the Lord visited the field of Moab and had blessed the people with food (Ruth 1:6), Naomi set out to the land of Judah with her 2 daughters-in-laws (Ruth 1:7). This is what we call "REAL" love, Naomi informed her 2 daughters-in-law to return to their mother's home, so that the Lord can deal kindly with them (Ruth 1:8). But Orpah and Ruth told Naomi that they'd accompany her and return to her people (Ruth 1:10). One thing lead to another and Orpah finally kissed Naomi and left; while Ruth clung to Naomi (Ruth 1:14) ...

It was so intense the manner in which Ruth told Naomi that wherever she (Naomi) goes, Ruth will follow, Naomi's people will be her people, your God will be my God and where you die I will die, too. Thus Naomi saw how determined and loyal Ruth was, Naomi said no more (Ruth 1:16-18). This story is a true example how actions speak louder than words ...

Obedience Creates Abundance

In the beginning there wasn't anyone to tend to the ground (Genesis 2:5), therefore, the Lord formed man from the dust from the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life (Genesis 2:7). What we're going to focus our attention on right now, is that God has a calling or job for each and everyone of us. Furthermore, it's definitely not based upon someone's perspective either (1 Corinthians 1:26) ...

Yes, Adam and Eve made a mistake because they listened to the serpent (Genesis 2:4-7) and due to their lack of obedience they were removed from the Garden of Eden (Genesis 2:24). In conclusion, we must learn from Adam & Eve's mishap and pay closer attention to what Jesus Christ tells us in His word, so that our obedience will allow us to "always" eat of the abundance o the land (Isaiah 1:19) ...

Eye 4 Eye

It's a pity how some people applaud getting even, instead of turning the other cheek (Matthew  5:39) ... While you study the bible, you'll comprehend that the term "an eye for any eye" is a rule that was instituted as a guide for the judges (Exodus 21:24-25), not a rule for personal relationships or to justify seeking revenge ... Furthermore, this rule was created so the punishment would fit the crime and not to carry on cruel or barbaric act to suit a person's own needs ...

On the contrary, Jesus Christ refers to this principal when He taught us not to be retaliate (Matthew 5:38-48) ...

Deep Down Inside

Greetings Everybody:

 

During your quest of preparing yourself so that you arrive on time to God's House, but your struggling with a few issues that only want to stir up in your mind anger, bitterness and an unforgiving spirit, too. Deep down inside, you have to comprehend that it's the enemy attempting to robe you (John 10:10); however you should remember that right now you maybe crying or in pain; but later on you'll rejoice with joy (Psalm 126:5) ...

 

As human beings, we have... the option to fixate our attention on what's momentary (but we don't advise that) or constantly pray; so that we can be focused on what leads to eternal life (2 Corinthians 4:18); because if you recall the Apostle Paul encountered a great deal of trials and tribulations however he took it upon himself to inform all those within his reach that what the Lord started in your life, He'll (God) will bring it to a blissful finish (Philippians 1:6) ...

The bible discusses how Jesus Christ healed and liberated people in various ways. For instance, when Jesus went to the house of Peter's mother-in-laws home because she was extremely ill with a high fever (Matthew 8:14), He (Jesus) touched her hand and the fever immediately left (Matthew 8:15) ...

There was also a gentleman with a severe skin disease and when he saw Jesus the first thing he did was fall to his knees, asked Jesus to heal him (Mark 1:40). As Jesus listened and observed the man, he felt extremely sorry for him, then processed to touch him and then the man was instantly healed (Mark 1:41) ...

The Lord inspired us to share this post in order to inform all our readers that if you know that someone is ill and you have faith (Matthew 17:20), pray for them (Mark 11:24) and then the Lord will definitely take care of the rest ...

"It Takes Courage"

It's an emotion that comes from experiencing the trials and tribulations that we as human beings tend to encounter in life and eventually overcoming them. In other words, courage is the quality of mind or spirit that enables a person to face difficulty, without fear ...

It truly takes courage to refuse the advances of this world. Courage to quell the pressures that lead to offend the Lord. Such as drugs, being promiscuous (in a sexual sense) or alcohol; but instead they prefer to maintain themselves pure (1 Corinthians 6:19-20) ...

The bibles shares the stories of many men, women and youths that displayed different stages of courage. At this moment, we're going to talks about Daniel who wouldn't defile himself with the king's food (Daniel 1:8); but instead he (Daniel) asked if he could spent 10 days without eating the king's food (Daniel 1:12). After the 10 days passed, Daniel and Daniel looked healthier than those younger men who did eat the King's food (Daniel 1:15) ...

It truly takes courage to be a leader in a world full of so much chaos. To stand up for what's right and teach all those around you a lesson of righteousness without saying a word; but through your own testimony (Titus 2:7). Therefore, continue to do what's right and show the world that serving the Lord isn't a waste of time (Colossians 3:23-24) ...
